The 2023 Race for ACCE will be on Saturday, August 5th at 9 a.m.

Race 5K Registration Fees - $25

Family Discount (3 or more) - $60

Children’s Fun Run Registration Fee - $10

The event will take place on the Blacksburg High School Cross Country Course. Kids fun run will take place on the track at 10 a.m. Awards ceremony to follow. Participants residing outside of the area are welcome to register and run virtually using the hashtag #RaceforACCE.

To register for the Race for ACCE 5K or the Children’s Fun Run, you can use our online form. Registration includes a race t-shirt. Those who register by July 8th will have their t-shirt by race weekend.

Runabout Sports has generously donated gift cards for the top three male and female finishers. New River Engraving has generously donated awards for the top two runners in each age group as well as finisher ribbons for all fun run participants.

All proceeds will benefit Montgomery County Access to Community College Education (ACCE), which is a public/private partnership that makes tuition-free college at NRCC available to Montgomery County high school graduates who meet the criteria. Participating students must complete 80 community service hours each year and maintain a 2.5 GPA in their NRCC coursework.
